Advertising Rhetoric

In this piece of advertising rhetoric I think it shows the level of love and belonging. In the level of love and belonging it talks about friendship and family, which could both be related to this picture. In the picture the creator is trying to advertise writing, and the post. The words at the bottom of the picture are pretty self exclamatory. It says "If you really want to reach someone, write them a letter." I think the creator did a great job when trying to reach the audience, I mean the letter is coming out as a person and touching the other person, exactly what it says. There really isn't any way the picture could be wrongly interpreted. I think it also helps that you can actually read the letter. It starts odd with I know it's difficult not being able to see eachother. This is a real letter that some one would send to a friend or family member that is far away. I think it is a really touching picture which makes it that much more affective.

Although this really isn't a product, unless you are buying the Post, I think it is more of an advice piece to someone. It could also be a que to try and make the reader want to read more since it is an interesting piece. Maybe the Post is even trying to get others to write to them about letters they have wrote to friends and family in the past that has really touched someone. I think that this is very affective at what it is trying to accomplish. When the reader sees this, an automatic reaction of someone, or a letter they have received from someone is going to pop up into their head. This triggers an emotional memory so it makes it that much more affective to the audience. I think this is the most affective way for a creator or writer to get the attention of another person.
